B.A.

The Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) program offers students a wide choice of subject combinations to match their interests and career goals. At our college, students can pursue

  • B.A. –Business Management, Office Management, Secretarial Practice
  • B.A. –Psychology, Journalism, and English Literature
  • B.A. – History, Rural Development, and Sociology.              The program emphasizes critical thinking, communication skills, and a strong understanding of society and culture, preparing graduates for careers in education, media, social work, administration, research, and higher studies.

B.Com

The Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) program provides students with a strong foundation in accounting, finance, taxation, economics, and business management. It equips learners with the knowledge and skills
required to excel in the corporate world, entrepreneurship, or professional courses like CA, CS, and MBA. The program blends theory with practical exposure, preparing students for diverse career opportunities in banking, finance, commerce, and management.

BCA

The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) program focuses on computer science and information technology, offering in-depth knowledge of programming, software development, database management, and networking. It prepares students for careers in the fast-growing IT industry and builds a strong platform for higher studies like MCA and M.Sc. in Computer Science. With a balance of technical
expertise and practical training, the course helps students develop into skilled IT professionals ready to meet industry demands.

Certificate courses

To enable the students to have an inter disciplinary approach the college is offering the following certificate courses.

  • Certificate course in Communication Skills.
  • Certificate course in Soft Skills.
  • Certificate course in Computer Studies.

Interested students can take up any of the above certificate courses after the regular class hours.  Further details can be had from the office.

In the B A stream there are four courses or subjects under NEP. The subjects are Business Management, Secretarial Practice, History and Rural Development. 

B.A.

  • Gain broad knowledge in arts, humanities, and social sciences.
  • Improve communication, analytical, research, and leadership skills.
  • Build confidence for higher studies, jobs, or competitive exams.

  • Improve English language, literature, and creative writing.

  • Understand rural development issues, NGOs, and governance.
  • Study sociological theories and social issues.
  • Scope: Teaching, research, NGOs, rural development agencies, social welfare organizations,
    government services.

B Com

  • Gain knowledge in accounting, taxation, cost management, law, statistics, and business management.
  • Develop problem-solving, decision-making, and financial literacy skills.
  • Acquire practical exposure through projects, internships, and business case studies.
  • Scope: Careers in banking, auditing, taxation, corporate finance, entrepreneurship, or higher studies like MBA, M.Com, CA, CS, ICWA.

B.C.A

  • Learn fundamentals of computers, programming (C, C++, Java, Python), databases, networking, and web development.
  • Develop logical thinking, problem-solving, and software development skills.
  • Gain practical exposure through labs, projects, and teamwork.
  • Scope: Careers as software developer, system analyst, IT consultant, database administrator, web/app developer, or higher studies like MCA, MBA (IT), Data Science, AI/ML.
