Youth Red Cross
The YRC organizes blood donation camps in association with civil society organizations and First Aid training programmes with the help of Red Cross Society members.
National Service Scheme
The motto of National Service Scheme is “NOT ME BUT YOU” . The NSS unit in the college provides opportunity to students to be involved in community activities, to participate in camps that gives the glimpse of community living and exposure to leadership opportunities.
SC/ST Cell
The SC/ ST Cell conducts awareness programmes about the facilities available to the SC/ST students from the government. The Cell also organizes legal awareness programmes for these students.
Human Rights Cell
The Human Rights Cell aims to empower students by creating awareness about human rights, Constitutional provisions to protect the human rights through guest talks, competitions, quiz, etc.
Career Guidance Cell
A career guidance and placement cell is in place to guide the students for competitive examinations, facing interview and to arrange for suitable placements by inviting companies for campus placement. Every year students are getting placements in different areas. The cell organizes Corporate to Campus programmes by involving alumni who are working in various companies. The Cell also creates awareness about various higher study options. The Cell also provides emotional support students through the Personal counselling centre.
Students’ Council
Students’ Council is a platform provided to students to participate in the decision-making process in the student welfare activities. The Students’ Council is the representative body of the students’ community. It consists of the nominated office bearers and members. The students are nominated to the Council based on their performance in the previous semester exams. The toppers from each class are nominated as representatives. There are also leaders who represent NSS, Art and Literary Club and Sports association. The students’ council initiates activities that provide platform to bring out the talents in each student in the college.
